She adds that with impact investing, an investor can generate an attractive return on investment while simultaneously effecting positive change in the world.
In the case of affordable and workforce housing, investors seeking to create a positive impact by increasing the number of reasonably priced rental units can look to REITs (real estate investment trusts).
Jones listed down some REITS that offer affordable and workforce housing options. They include: NexPoint Residential Trust, Reven Housing REIT, and Mid-America Apartment Communities.
