Mashable reports on Knobl, which claims it's "rewriting the paradigm of social impact," and it works by allowing users to " seamlessly convert their routine activities into charitable contributions, cultivating a heightened sense of purpose and engagement."
For instance, if you're playing a game on your phone and want to donate to a charity, just open up the app, tap on the game you want to donate to, and you'll be directed to a Knobl page where you can choose to make a donation, or opt not to donate at all and just "give it to Knobl."
You can also choose to donate to a specific cause via Knobl's donation page, or you can donate directly to the cause via a donation button on the app.
The idea behind Knobl is to make donating easier for people who don't have a lot of money to spare, but don't have a lot of time or inclination.
