The Washington, DC-based International Finance Corporation, a branch of the World Bank, is looking for grad students around the world to come up with ways to make a "tangible difference" in developing countries by 2024, and it's looking for ideas that address climate change and women's issues.
The 2024 competition, called the IFC Impact Investing Challenge, will focus on "the challenge of climate change and its disproportionate impact on women and marginalized communities," IFC says in a press release.
"Through this lens, we invite you to propose an innovative proposal in designing a debt or equity fund that not only addresses these disparities but also harnesses the potential of green economies to empower women in developing countries."
The deadline for applications is April 15, per Business Insider.

Weston Mill-based social enterprise Surplus Rescue CIC (Community Interest Company) recycles and finds homes for unwanted furniture. To date, it has received “extensive amounts” of quality second-hand furniture including desks, pedestals, cupboards and office chairs from a former local authority office equipment – and wants to find them a good home.
