In what may be a first for a major US city, Los Angeles has been chosen as the site of the 2024 Mission Investors Exchange National Conference, a conference that will focus on "investing in social and environmental change at a time when the field of impact investing is growing rapidly," according to a press release.
The conference, which will be the first for the city, will bring more than 750 philanthropy and impact investing leaders from across the country to downtown Los Angeles for the first time, the Globe and Mail reports.
The conference will explore innovative best practices and facilitate new collaborations and strategies to build a more equitable and sustainable future, the press release notes.
